Speech language pathologist volunteers in Turks and Caicos.
In January 2011, Deborah volunteered her time and expertise when invited by 1World Foundation and Developmental Pediatrician, Dr. Helen Leonard, at the newly (Canadian) built hospital in Turks and Calicos. Deborah, along with Dr. Claire Richardson, an Occupational Therapist, participated in multidisciplinary assessments for 35 children on the island. Dr. Leonard wrote: “We were so lucky to get someone with your skills and experience.”
